Metal's Next Generation, Wings Of Steel, Release "Live In France" - A live album that delivers a masterful experience that takes you to the pinnacle of classic, melodic metal.
In the wake of their first full length album “Gates of Twilight” in 2023, Wings of Steel embarked on their first European tour in the spring of 2024. The tour consisted of 11 shows across three countries; France, Germany, and Belgium. Without the band’s prior knowledge, the second headline show in France at Le Splendid in Lille was recorded, and thus “Live in France” was born.
As the band’s 10th ever live performance, the album features 8 tracks from their first two studio releases which captures the raw energy and talent of the band.

Wings of Steel are a hard rock/heavy metal band founded by vocalist Leo Unnermark and guitarist Parker Halub in 2019. The two met while studying music in Los Angeles and have been working together ever since. Rooted in the old-school hard rock and heavy metal of the 70’s and 80’s, the band's style could be described as an epic, new and unique expression of those classic styles. Infusing Unnermark's bluesy dynamics and powerful high register with Halub's bombastic riffs and expressive soloing, the union comes together to create a distinctly massive sound that speaks for itself.
Wings Of Steel released their debut, self-titled, EP in 2022 to rave reviews from the media and that set the wheels in motion and provided a launching pad for their wings to take flight.

Wings Of Steel Comments on "Gates Of Twilight Album: “The lyrics for the most part are written based on universal reflections and speak of the balance between opposites (dark and light, good and bad, heaven and hell, life and death etc). They journey through various concepts and can thus be related to in multiple ways depending on how the listener him/herself, wishes to interpret them. The lyrics speak of the importance of the balance between things we love and desire and of the things we are afraid to accept.”
