Udal Cuain Releases Debut Album "No One Falls Like a God" On Agoge Records!

Udal Cuain, the Florence-based metal band, proudly announces the release of their highly anticipated debut album, "No One Falls Like a God," which became available on May 11, 2024. The album showcases the band's unique blend of prog, power, and heavy metal, appealing to fans of Savatage, Blind Guardian, and Virgin Steele with its complex compositions and powerful emotional depth.

Udal Cuain—meaning "to be tossed around by the ocean" in Scottish Gaelic—embodies the intense, turbulent nature of their music. Formed in 2018, the band draws inspiration from the influential work of Crimson Glory and Savatage, along with the best metal from the 80s and 90s, while also infusing their sound with the dark, vampiric atmosphere characteristic of early Cradle of Filth albums.

"No One Falls Like a God" is an ambitious debut, weaving together themes of science fiction, Shakespearean tragedy, the power of nature, and the emotional and moral conflicts of humanity in war and religion. The album's tracks are a testament to the band’s ability to merge heavy riffs with intricate melodies, pushing the boundaries of traditional metal by incorporating elements from classical and electronic music.

The band is composed of Alessio Parretti (vocals, keyboards, piano), formerly of Dark Age and Jaws of Fate, and Matteo Meucci (bass, guitar), also a member of Coram Lethe. Together, they have created an album that pays homage to metal legends while forging a new path forward in the genre.

"Science fiction, Shakespearean tragedy, the evocative force of nature, the tumult of emotions, and the contradictions of mankind in war and religion. All of this is encapsulated in 'No One Falls Like a God'," the band shares, emphasizing the album's depth and diversity.

"No One Falls Like a God" is now available on all major streaming platforms and for purchase.
