Temple of Dread formed in 2017 and hail from the East Frisian island of Spiekeroog, located in the North Sea territory of Germany. The isle’s only death metal band has previously released four records, Blood Craving Mantras (2019), World Sacrifice (2020), Hades Unleashed (2021) and Beyond Acheron (2023). The band’s vicious brand of death metal is massively heavy and melancholic with lyrics by psychologist Frank Albers who delivers intelligent gory texts revolving around mythical beings.
