Porto-based fado progressive metal singer PAULA TELES returns forcefully to the scene with “EntreParedes,” the new album scheduled to be released as CD and digitally on April 30th via Ethereal Sound Works.
“EntreParedes” proves to be a mature album with multiple meanings. Through seven new songs, it celebrates the centenary of Carlos Paredes - the greatest Portuguese guitarist of all time.
The song “II Acto” is now available as a foretaste of what you may expect from the album. It is a very meaningful song, dedicated to the Carnation Revolution, a coup d'état organized by the Armed Forces Movement (MFA), a group of left-wing Portuguese military officers. With the support of the population, the military overthrew the regime of dictator António de Oliveira Salazar, changing the future of Portugal.
