Geneva-based blackened thrash/punk outfit Mandroïd Of Krypton is set to release their highly anticipated third album, Cosmic Sarcophagus, on November 29, 2024, via MTAF Records. After a nine-year hiatus since their last release Hyperkaossmarket, the band returns with a heavier, more aggressive sound that merges their progressive tendencies with raw energy and old-school black metal intensity.
Cosmic Sarcophagus delves deep into science fiction and ecological dystopias, with the band's signature blend of gritty vocals, thunderous riffs, and atmospheric passages. Featuring a mix of clean, chanted parts and raw, visceral black metal tones, the album channels influences from early Voïvod, Dead Kennedys, and Mayhem, crafting a unique retro-futuristic journey.
