This is the first single from the upcoming album “Ruin Everything” which hopefully will be released later this year (planned date December 2024). The track is about letting go of the fears and anxieties we all face in today's society and is lighter in approach to HEDRA’s usual style with a more commercial arrangement in sounds & influence of bands such as Funeral for a Friend of the emo era or even Nickelback for their chart toppers of the early 2000’s.”
Everything in the current social climate is such a struggle and it sometimes feels there are more bad days than good days.
‘The Fear Inside’ track points to that and focuses on letting go of the things that you struggle with the fears that hold you back to allow you to contemplate on the important things that matter to us as individuals and music is hope for all right now so the song is attempting to reach you all in its stature” says Daniel who joined HEDRA in 2023. Most things happen in life for a reason and the band want to highlight this with the modern struggles you all face in your minds due the growing financial struggles of individuals and businesses alike affecting many grass root venues.
Drums were recorded live at Parlour Studios Kettering in September 2023 , famous for working with metal bands of a dystopian nature such as ‘Napalm Death’ completed the home recorded Guitars, Bass & Vocals over a 12 month writing period the track also features guest vocals by Craig Keeling from Essex melodic experimental metal band ‘Junction 28’ as a last minute addition to the song, ‘the imagery is dark but the music is the light’ this song kicks off the concept of what’s yet to come for HEDRA over the next few months!
