France’s old-school death metal force MUERTISSIMA is excited to unveil the first details about their upcoming album! The band’s new work will be called “Prophecy” and it will be released on February 13th via German label Fetzner Death Records.

With “Prophecy,” MUERTISSIMA delivers a dark, visceral, and uncompromising album. A raw death metal sound, tinged with thrash and black nuances, that stands as a sharp critique of modern society. Through violent, raw, and symbolic lyrics, the album explores universal and disturbing themes: war, the downfall of humanity, religious corruption, the worship of money, and the desperate search for meaning. Each track resonates like a prophecy of collapse - a brutal sonic fresco of a world in decay, where freedom can only be seized through death or rebellion. Driven by an infernal atmosphere, crushing riffs, and genuine rage, “Prophecy” is a visceral scream against hypocrisy, spiritual emptiness, and the illusion of power. An album that doesn’t seek to please, but to confront, disturb, and awaken.
