ENEMY INSIDE have finally released their third studio album, Venom, through Reigning Phoenix Music today, circulating through the world’s veins. While on an extensive tour to present their new material to fans live, including their new permanent drummer Hanno Kerstan, the group is now premiering the official music video for the record’s title track.
The video for "Venom" depicts the band members in hospital-like ruins, ensnared in spiderwebs. Throughout the video, ENEMY INSIDE attempt to rid themselves of the negative influences surrounding them, but to no avail. The more they try to escape, the more they become entangled. Clocking in at less than three minutes, the song itself is another compact heavy-hitter from the band’s repertoire, featuring an irresistibly catchy chorus that contrasts with the song’s intense body. ENEMY INSIDE’s long-time video producer, Jonas Sommer, once again demonstrates his talent for merging the band’s music with visually striking imagery in "Venom."
“The title track is about toxic people - those who manipulate, mistreat, and drag you down. It’s about breaking free, reclaiming your power, and shifting from prey to predator. Every encounter leaves a mark, but instead of letting their ‘Venom’ weaken you, it fuels your strength,” they state.
