Deific Mourning explores themes of horror and uncertainty, with riffs inspired by feelings of terror and despair. The band’s member Kyle House, who has faced vaccine damage and serious health issues, collaborated with his friend Daniel Butler to create the lyrics and vocals. The album leans more towards doom than their previous work, Emetic Communion, while also incorporating goth-industrial elements.

In “Corpseless,” the band expresses the final moments of life, leading to deep reflections on existence and the ultimate insignificance of life when faced with the unknown. Decibel Magazine highlights the song's intense sound, urging listeners to confront their own mortality through powerful guitar and vocal performances.

The album features contributions from Charles Koryn and Greg Wilkinson for recording and production. It will be available in various formats, with preorders offered through Carbonized and Bandcamp.

DECREPISY’s live performances are scheduled for March 2025 in Portland, Tacoma, and Seattle. The band has a distinctive style of death metal that captures themes of grief and loss, and previous releases have received positive feedback for their heavy, complex sound.
