DAS MOÖSE Release Slashing New Video For "Traction Park Massacre (Don’t Cry For Me)”

Brooklyn heavy metal outfit DAS MOÖSE has revealed a cinematic, horror fueled video for "Traction Park Massacre (Don't Cry For Me)," from their newly released album, Moösehenge, The music video for is a companion piece for the upcoming horror movie “Traction Park Massacre.” The song will appear in the movie along with a killer soundtrack of metal music. The music video was directed by Adam Dubin who has directed music videos for Metallica ("Nothing Else Matters"), Beastie Boys ("Fight For Your Right To Party," "No Sleep Till Brooklyn"), Black Crowes ("Thick n’ Thin," "Sting Me") and many more.

Das Moöse, the self proclaimed “Greatest Heavy Metal Band in Park Slope”, features Dubin on (guitar, vocals), Joel Bloom (guitar, vocals), Drew Haase (drums, vocals) and Rob Kassabian (bass, vocals).

The Adam Dubin directed music video for “Traction Park Massacre (Don’t Cry For Me)” is a potpourri of pure punk/metal power. Beginning with thrash metal guitar icon Alex Skolnick of Testament playing his alter ego horror host “Count Von Skolitor” the video launches into a bubbling blender of scenarios from the band playing at Lucky 13 Saloon in Brooklyn to incredible scenes from the horror film “Traction Park Massacre.” “This is a throwback video to my Beastie Boys days” says Dubin. “Back then we put everything in a blender and out came a fun and crazy music video.

At one point the band dons Mexican wrestling masks and for their battling tribute to the onstage breakup of band favorites Jane’s Addiction. Then it’s on to Adam’s reenactment of the gorilla guitarist bit from the “No Sleep Till Brooklyn” video. Same guitar in both videos!

Then a quick cameo from friend of the band, Kory Clarke of punk/metal masters Warrior Soul.

Mustangs, metal, and movie mania, this video has it all, concluding with a cameo from the star killers of the movie, Kai and Bodhi Schulz in their role as The Terror Twins, Otto and Emil.
