Broken Jaw's new single “Chicken Nugs” is another mouth and eye opener, pointing out the flaws of social norms and societal expectations.
The song encroaches upon the slaughtering of animals by showing you that you are, in fact the animal being raised, used and cast aside but, much like the other already released tracks, it’s done in a humorous and eccentric way.
The song feels like it could almost be an ode to the yesteryears' punk songs, with an almost Dead Kennedys and Bad Brains vibe to it. The heavy breakdown nods towards the band’s Heavy Metal influences, with a giant long scream that would make the everyday, healthy lunged person feel giddy.
The video for Chicken Nugs was shot and edited again by formidable Loki Films and directed by Adam Leader (Hosts & Feed Me). It’s another feverish, satirical play on the world that we live in and just as mad and as fun as the first two releases for this album, completing the trifecta of what is to be known as “The BJ Food Trilogy”.
The band have now released four tracks from their album “No-OnE cArEs!”, which will be released on Monday 30th September, this shows the strength of the band and how they are not afraid to touch on subjects using their unique and slapstick mannerisms. The band are 100% serious about their music and ensure that it hits hard.
