BRAZEN TONGUE Releases New Single "Last Train From Myrdal"

BRAZEN TONGUE is thrilled to announce the release of their new single "Last Train From Myrdal", released today alongside a striking lyric video. This powerful track is the latest offering from their eagerly awaited album, Of Crackling Embers & Sorrows Drowned, which also features the exceptional talents of renowned drummer Kevin Paradis, known for his work with BENIGHTED and NE OBLIVISCARIS. Watch the lyric video HERE.

"Last Train From Myrdal" is an intensely personal song penned by Scott Skopec, the band's lead guitarist and vocalist. Skopec describes the song as a cathartic exploration of his journey to move beyond a failed relationship. "This song is deeply personal. It's about fixating on a past, idealized memory, and ultimately finding the strength to let go," says Skopec. The lyrics weave a poignant narrative of love, loss, and self-discovery, set against the backdrop of a lonely train journey through the mountains.

Of Crackling Embers & Sorrows Drowned is due out June 7th and pays tribute to the classic metal genre, expertly weaving aggression, tranquility, and melody to complement the thoughtful songwriting. "Last Train From Myrdal" offers a compelling glimpse of what promises to be a profoundly evocative album. BRAZEN TONGUE continues to push musical boundaries, crafting songs that not only entertain but also challenge and enrich the listener's experience.
